This idea came about because whenever I have to test a new pants design I sew a pair in an old fabric and inevitably over the years I, along with my mum, my daughters and Chloe my assistant have all ended up wearing them over and over around the house. Also perhaps out of the house too...
It suddenly dawned me that they needed to be a style in their own right for all of you too! So I designed a new pattern and turned to my collection of vintage sheets - fabric intended for sleep, rest and comfort, in quality that endures wash after wash and just gets better with age - & here we are!
They shape is similar to the Kimmy and Katie Pants but a looser fit, a little lower and wider on the waist, in soft florals and delicate feminine prints and colours.

Cotton. Genuine vintage fabric in mint condition. Gentle machine in wash cold water with delicates/phosphate free detergent, low spin, dry on the line, inside out, by the waistband and no need to iron. Do not tumble dry. Handmade in Sydney’s inner west, cut by me and sewn by a professional Makers, also a small local business nearby.

These are average to generous fit, a running true to size, comparable with the brand overall. Select your usual size. Model is average height, wears size 12.
To check your size, lay flat a favourite pair of pants and compare your measurements to those below. Note that this waist measurement is when the pants are flat with the fabric gathered in by the elastic, not fully stretched out. There’s much more space/fabric when it’s stretched, to easily glide over the hips.
