The humblest of headwear has been transformed into a thing of sheer beauty by Joy White, an incredible local Maker. Her beanies are warm and comforting and add a pop of colour and character to any winter outfit!
They are hand knitted from soft very high quality yarns, worked with years of experience, love and care. Next they are all blocked on a dome which means they are washed and shaped to even out the stitches and set the form and shape.
One size fits most, intended for an adult head. Please allow for natural variation in the thickness and type of the wool used and how much they stretch, as each one is subtly different and also whether you have lots of hair and prefer to wear yours turned up, back on your head or pulled down over the ears.
The top row are a medium gauge stitch with a smooth touch and slightly bigger in size, would also suit men. The bottom row are a finer gauge stitch with a smooth touch and slightly smaller in size, would also suit children. A timeless treasure you’ll enjoy for years to come!
100% Wool. Handwash using a specific wool wash detergent, following their instructions and rinse well with cold water. Squeeze out excess water in a towel. Gently shape and dry flat on a towel or across your line, rather than hanging it, which will stretch it out of shape.
