This style was named after my Grandmother who had a casual elegance & love of quality clothes that is perfectly expressed in this classic and comfortable piece.
It looks great dressed up or down, for work or play, with prints or plains. The soft elastic waist can be worn high with a top tucked in or lower towards the hips for a more casual look. The midi length is flattering on everyone and suits both flats or heels.
Of course you’ll find pockets in the side seams too!
100% Linen - light and breathable. New fabric, not vintage.
Cold handwash using mild phosphate free detergent by hand or on delicates cycle.
Hot iron but looks lovely left to dry naturally with a softly rumpled natural texture.

SIZE & FIT INFO
There is quite a bit of flexibility with the sizing due to the elastic waist and where you like it to sit on the torso. Please note the model pics are of the same style, made from the same type of fabric but in a different colour. First model is tall, slim body shape, size 8 and wears the S. Second model is size 12-14, curvy, taller than average and wears the M but the L also looks great on her.
To check your size, lay flat a favourite skirt and compare your measurements to those below. Note that this waist measurement is when the skirt is flat with the fabric gathered in by the elastic, not fully stretched out. There’s much more space/fabric when it’s stretched, to easily glide over the hips.
