Sometimes it’s the easy, simple things we are drawn to wearing over and over and I think these new Cami Tops are the perfect example of such comfort and versatility.
The careful tailoring like the straps that cover the bra, the flattering and comfortable height of the neckline and underarm and the perfect balance of fit and flow over the body, really allows these beautifully vibrant vintage fabrics to shine.
They are lovely worn loose over jeans or shorts for a casual look, but also dress up well if you’d like to tuck yours into a skirt. Also great for layering over a little tee or under a cardigan until the hot summer kicks in.
One of a kind, cut in my studio and sewn by a small business in the same suburb of Marrickville in Sydney, Australia.
I made this style several years ago and found them to be a great fit and true to size. I have since shortened them slightly to avoid any tugging across the hips. The model shown is usually a size 8 or 10, 173cm tall with long limbs and wears the 8-10 here. She has a small bust but because this isn't a fitted style at the waist, has bust darts and is loose over the tummy, it still fits a bigger bust beautifully too.
100% Cotton. Genuine vintage fabric in mint condition. Print designed by famous artist John Kaldor.
Cold Handwash or gentle cycle in delicates bag using mild phosphate free detergent. Hang to dry without delay on a coat hanger and you probably won’t need to iron it.
To check your size, lay flat a favourite cotton top (not a t shirt or anything made from stretchy material) and run a tape measure across it to compare the measurements to ours.
